The cattle farming industry is at a crossroads. New technologies, stricter regulations, a growing focus on sustainability, and changing societal expectations are forcing us to reshape the sector. This requires collaboration, innovation, and a fresh perspective on the future.
At the Buiatrics Congress 2025, which brings together professionals from the cattle sector, this future takes center stage.
With the theme “Preparing for the Bovine Future” we are creating a platform for veterinarians, researchers, policymakers, and businesses to share knowledge and insights. From practical solutions to scientific breakthroughs, this congress highlights all aspects that contribute to a strong and sustainable industry.
This congress is organized by The Flemish Association for Buiatrics, which unites veterinarians with a special interest in all aspects of cattle medicine, breeding, and economics.
The association’s goal is to raise awareness of developments in these areas by organizing meetings, distributing publications, and encouraging research.
Our mission is to give cattle veterinary medicine in Flanders a boost.
Board members of The Flemish Association for Buiatrics are Kwinten Gielkens, Marc Goderis, Xanthe Helsen, Zyncke Lipkens, Kristien Neyens, Mathilde Pas, Karlien Supré, Jeroen Vandenbroucke, Tom Van Hulle and Hans Van Loo
